What is the meaning of Rahul Gandhi’s elevation?

Rahul Gandhi    At Chintan Shivir in Jaipur Rahul Gandhi was declared as Vice President of All India Congress Committee. What Congress will get by this action? Off course he will have better say in party politics but,he was already no. 2 in the party but, without official post. I just do not think he or his party is going to get any special mileage due to this official crowning.Congress as a political party has always been run by Nehru-Gandhi clan barring few years.Young India already looking at Rahul as their future because BJP hasn’t quite been able to fulfill their wishes and there has been terrible negativity in their approach.

India certainly deserves better opposition party, BJP is certainly not one of it.BJP either wants to rack up emotional issues or corruptions issues, they will never take up issues which are important to people of India.Financial deficit is such one big issue.Congress led Govt trying to reduce deficit by putting a cap on cooking Gas and hiking petrol and diesel prices, but BJP is opposing it, Every one know that six Gas cylinder is enough for a four member family and if family is big then their income is also that much higher.Govt wants to use this reduction in subsidy in to their ambitious food subsidy program, hence it is a wise and well thought out strategy,BJP is opposing for the sack of opposition,There are so many such program govt wants to implement, but not without opposition.

People looking at Rahul Gandhi as ray of hope for themselves.Rahul Gandhi in his speech at Chintan Shivir shown glimpse of his late father Shri Rajiv Gandhi and people know Rahul can deliver them like his late father. My only contention is those including BJP leaders like Arun Jaitely will have to eat humble pie when Rahul Gandhi will take rein of Govt in 2014 general election and they have to seat once again in opposition benches.BJP thinks that Gujarat CM can do wonder for themselves then they are living in fool’s paradise. They have never ever articulated their vision for modern India, they have just opposed the UPA policies even without showing alternative policies.

Realpolitik being played by opposition over FDI in retail

foreign direct investment is a complex issue, but anybody who is competent enough to take on this issue is a prime minister of Indian Dr.Manmohan Singh himself. But almost all other parties, barring few are opposing it.This is purely an executive decision and for no Parliamentary consent is required. But bigots of opposition wants vote on this issue, just to embarrass Govt.Without going into the merit of the case this is not the way a responsible party should behave.FDI is a executive decision and Govt of the day can directly implement it without even taking opposition in the confidence, but to stall parliament on this issue is totally uncalled for.

Opposition’s sole intention seems to be to put Govt in a fix, hence opposition can say that parliament is not in favor for FDI in retail and Govt should gave up idea of it.Such decisions can only be taken by economists like prime minister himself,Jairam Ramesh and Dr.Montek Singh Ahluwalia.Congress has best mind as far as economical decisions are concerned. 2G spectrum issue has become considerably weak and coalgate is in all probability likely to meet same fate, hence opposition has become almost issue less,Their shoulders are drooped.

Nitin Gadkari case has made them tentative and they are not being able to take ruling Congress head on! BJP is a brainless party, because Congress will make him a target. BJP’s only intention is to show people that Congress is bringing a thing which is not in their interest, but BJP is in interest of their welfare and that is the dirty politics played by BJP! Today itself president shri Pranab Mukharjee has warned all not to waste all important time of Parliament and BJP is doing preciously that.Congress wants to bring long pending legislation and have a push for reforms, but by obstructing parliament BJP want to show Congress is in bad light but, it will seldom be successful as past experience has shown to us.

Mamata is a maverick leader!

Mamata have left UPA for no real reason and now she is hell bent on bringing down by introducing no confidence motion against it.Ever since she took rein of writers building after throwing out 35 years of communist rule, state of West Bengal has witnessed a cases rape, infant deaths, firing on innocent people and many such untoward incidents, but still she is in denial mode. She thinks she is indispensable in West Bengal which is far from reality.Communist are very much a force to reckon with. She must remember that she fought with BJP thrice and got nothing in response, but when she tied up Congress she stood victorious both in Parliamentary and assembly polls.

She is planning to bring a no confidence motion against United Progressive Alliance (UPA) on the issue of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). This is a highly debatable and can debated in parliament for which Govt is ready, then what is the requirement for this no confidence motion? She untrustworthy ally for everybody be it UPA or NDA! She is truly “Maverick” person.Almost all the parties are against FDI in retail, but that does not mean they will support Mamata sponsored no confidence motion. BJP the main opposition party is dilemma over supporting this no confidence, in fact all the NDA are in same position,

When Mamata parted away from Congress during Narsihma Rao regime, all Congress biggie like Abdul Ghani Khan Chaudhuri & Siddharth Shanker Rai tried to convince her, but she was so adamant that she didn’t heed them at all.Well, she may have achieved what she want but, at what cost? She was a street smart politician but, now even after becoming a chief minister of the state she is behaving in same manner which is certainly not a wise thing to do.She always wants to be in limelight and that too at any cost.

Her no confidence motion against UPA has no buyer.Even her erstwhile partner NDA has refuse to support on the issue.Due to her agitation Tata’s Nano project has moved out of Bengal to the state of Gujarat. She is adopting same CPM policy even after opposing it tooth & nail while in opposition. She is loosing grip over administration very fast. She is neither welcomed by UPA or NDA, hence she has to all alone in next Loksabha & state polls in year 2016.As far as she is in power in the state she will be able to keep her folks together, but once elections are declared it will be very very difficult for her to keep her party united.
